Measure anything on screen. A translucent ruler lies across the whole browser window and reads in pixels, inches, centimetres or millimetres.
A browser can't tell how big your screen physically is, so before calibration the inch and centimetre readings vary by device. Match it once against a bank card — the same size everywhere — and this device stays accurate.
Put a ruler across the screen
Press Start the ruler and translucent bars appear across the window, horizontal and vertical. Drag them alongside whatever you're measuring.
Click and drag a bar to move it. Read the figure at two points and subtract one from the other to get the distance between them.
